If you do not have a copy of your deed readily available, fear not! The deed is a matter of public record.

A copy can easily be obtained by calling your title company or by logging onto MDLANDREC.NET and selecting your county. Each county gives multiple options for beginning your search.

In Baltimore City, for example, a user can search the indices by block, address, instrument, individual name, and corporation name. The website also gives the option to search plats and block books.

If you need assistance with your deed, or have general questions regarding deeds, please give us a call at 410-243-3825. Our attorneys will be happy to help you.
